What exactly is constellation work?
Constellation work is an experiential systemic practice used to explore relationships, recurring patterns and dynamics within the systems we belong to—particularly our family systems. A constellation creates a spatial representation of a system so that relationships and patterns that may be difficult to perceive through conversation alone can be explored from a different perspective.
My Style Constellation practice is my own application of this framework within the larger universe of Style Cosmology, exploring how our inherited and relational stories may intersect with identity, beauty, clothing, self-expression and the Aura.
You don't need to become an expert in constellation work before participating. But if you're curious, I've gathered a few resources below so you can wander deeper. ✨
What is a Style Constellation?
Style Constellations are where this systemic practice enters the world of Style Cosmology.
Rather than looking at personal style as simply a collection of aesthetic preferences, we become curious about the larger constellation surrounding the self.
Who taught you what beauty looks like?
Who taught you how visible it was safe to become?
What did the people before you believe about the body, clothing, pleasure, gender, money, desirability or belonging?
And which of those stories still belong to you?
Style Constellation work creates space to explore those questions through the language of Style Cosmology.
You don't have to know anything about constellation work to enter.
You only have to arrive with something you're curious about.
